Visionary entrepreneurs decided to create a network of dry-cleaners who shared a passion for excellence, leading to the birth of "Nettoyeurs Daoust"!

1991

Convinced from the start that the cornerstone of the network’s business model, its service excellence and expertise, benefits its customers, Daoust Cleaners merged in 1991 with Michel Forget Cleaners and became known as the "Groupe Daoust/Forget Inc.", the largest network of drycleaners in Quebec.

2001

Daoust EcoEfficient Cleaners clean more than one million garments per year.

2015

Faced with a lack of response from the dry-cleaning industry to the impact of the use of oil products (fossil-fuel-based solvents) on the environment, as well as the health of its customers and employees, and with the gradual introduction of environmental policies which will ban the use of certain types of solvents (such as perchloroethylene), the Groupe Daoust/Forget Inc. has succeeded, after investing considerable resources in research and development, in refining a Professional Wet-Cleaning solution. This solution is 100% environmentally-friendly and completely automated which provides for the in-depth cleaning of all types of garments and fabrics, without fail. Daoust EcoEfficient Cleaners is born!

Three decades and more than 120 locations later (including 25 locations which offer the Professional Wet-Cleaning solution, while many others are in the process of converting their locations), the DAOUST, DAOUST/FORGET et DAOUST ECOEFFICIENT CLEANERS are comprised in the largest dry-cleaning network in Canada and rank amongst the most important in the world. Approximately 700,000 customers are served every year.
