Please note that this Privacy Policy does not govern the privacy policies and procedures of franchisees of GDF stores.

Collection and Use of Employee Candidate Personal Information
GDF collects personal information from employee candidates in connection with the administration of its employment applications and hiring program. Personal information collected from an employee candidate may include: name, residential address, non-business telephone number, email address, signature, educational background, previous employment information, citizenship status, and age.
Collection and Use of Guest Information
GDF collects personal information when you contact GDF directly to make inquiries or to provide feedback with respect to GDF stores or GDF products, services or events. Personal information collected from you may include your name, email address, non-business telephone number, city of residence, the GDF store visited, and the date and time of your visit to the GDF store. GDF uses this information to contact you regarding the inquiry or feedback submitted. We may also retain this information to assist guests in the future and to improve our guest service, product and service offerings, and events.
Email and other communications
From time to time, we may collect certain personal information such as first and last name and email address to send you emails about GDF products and services. If you provide us with your email address, we may also use your email address to display tailored advertisements on social media and other websites. You can opt-out of receiving these communications by following the unsubscribe instructions in any of our emails.
Digital Coupons
GDF collects personal information when you create an account for GDF digital coupons. To create an account for GDF digital coupons your personal information such as your name, email address, postal code, and password may be collected. We use this information to administer and provide the GDF digital coupon account and services.
If you create an account for digital coupons you may refer a friend to receive GDF digital coupons by providing valid email addresses to GDF of persons with whom you have an existing personal or family relationship and who have reached the age of majority in their province of residence. You must obtain consent from each such referred person before providing his or her email address to GDF, and by submitting any such email address, you certify that you have obtained such consent and that you have an existing personal or family relationship with the referred person(s). GDF will send an email to each referred person on your behalf (including your name) inviting him or her to create an account for GDF digital coupons and, if applicable, including a special promotional offer. You can opt out of receiving digital coupons and related communications by logging into your account and unchecking a box or by following the unsubscribe instructions in any of our emails.
Contests
If you enter an GDF sponsored contest, personal information may be collected for the purposes of contest administration such as name, birth date, residential address, non-business telephone number, and email address. Personal information may also be collected for promotional and publicity purposes related to the contest such as name, city and/or province of residence, likeness, voice, non-sensitive biographical information, and photographs.
Collection and Use of Prospective Franchisee Information
GDF collects and uses personal information in order to assist it in selecting franchisee candidates. Personal information collected from prospective franchisees includes, but is not limited to: name, residential address, residential telephone number, residential facsimile number (optional), email address, date of birth (optional), educational background, occupation, previous employment, education, and financial information such as the amount of unencumbered cash available for investment and approximate personal net worth. We use this information for the purpose of processing and responding to franchisee applications.
Collection and Use of Website

However, we collect the IP (Internet protocol) addresses of all visitors to our websites and other related information such as page requests, browser type, operating system and average time spent on our websites.
