How much will you need to invest?

In addition to the initial fee of $30,000* you will need to pay when you sign the franchise convention, you should plan on a global investment which may vary between $180,000 to $450,000, depending on the type of store you choose.

The characteristics of a good franchise owner

As the instigator of a solution which will revolutionize the dry-cleaning industry in the world, we must ensure that our brand continues to shine and that the services offered by our franchisees are outstanding.

A franchisee which shows entrepreneurial spirit, focused on the success of his/her business and committed to excellence with his customers, his employees and his partners, demonstrates some of the characteristics that we are looking for in our network. One final point: will you be able to have confidence in the sustainability of the system that we have developed?

Your geographic location

Daoust EcoEfficient Cleaners should be located close to its customer base. In small towns, the store should be located, preferably, close to a wealthy business environment. In larger cities, we recommend locating the store close to densely populated residential and commercial areas where there is a lot of foot and vehicular traffic (shopping centres, subway exits, supermarkets, etc.). You are encouraged to locate your DAOUST EcoEfficient Cleaners store in a space that has a minimum of 800 square feet. The operations area must be at the street level and offer parking spaces.

Initial training and start-up support

You must successfully complete an initial training course prior to the opening of your franchise. The course provides training on the operations of the equipment, customer service and overall management of the franchise. The store complement must have, in addition to the franchisee, two employees (an ironer/pressor and a machine operator). A seamstress is also recommended.

We will provide you with any required assistance for the start-up of your store and throughout the business relationship.
